When Jehoshaphat instructed the people to sing and give thanks unto the Lord, The Lord caused their enemies to turn against each other and all Judah had to do was collect the spoils of war. When Jonah was in the belly of the fish, he did not waste time whining and complaining. he begun to give thanks. God heard his thanksgiving, and commanded the fish to vomit him onto dry land.

In a bid to frustrate Daniel, the satraps and administrators misled king Darius to pass a decree that stated.. “anyone who prays to any god or human being during the next thirty days, except to you, shall be thrown into the lions den. When Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home and gave thanks to God as was his usual custom. Daniels oppressors hurried to report his actions to the king who against his wishes had Daniel thrown into the lions dens as the decree stated. The Lions could not come near a man who lived he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. a life of thanksgiving.
Begin to give thanks now in the midst of your situation, struggle and battle and see the victory that God will give you. God responds to thankful hearts. There is a wealth of untapped power in thanksgiving that exceeds any “battle prayers” you have been making.
